moving in, moving on

i'll be moving into hall, like for real - to sleep, eat, crap (in both senses of the word), wdv.. tomorrow! i hope it'll be fun. and tomorrow's the first day of orientation. hahaa as well as the first day without my comp. i will probably be unable to access msn, fb, the internet and wdv until 11august! the supposed delivery date of the thinkpad that i'm gonna buy because i was too lazy to go simlim to find an asus. ISOLATION. but the laptop models are freaking new.. the thinkpad not released yet and the fujitsu cannot be found in singapore yet?! so.. i guess it's a good deal.

apprehensive. but this is really a push towards something different! stepping out of comfort zone, no? we all gotta do it sometime. and this is my time! hahaa.. i'll exercise more, lose weight and become skinny =D yay.. esp since there are like too many slopes and staircases around the entire campus -.-"

have i mentioned how freaking awesome the dark knight is? i seem to have forgot all about monday movie outing with csc og on the 21st! the night is darkest before the dawn. and i liked the themes they touched on! =P

went for some ums tea session yesterday, it was rather useful.. but more like a see-faces networking session! i won't ever admit that it wasted time (: because after that i attended HALF the choir concert before deciding i couldn't take it and went home. not that the choir was bad, but i couldn't give them the attention they deserved! come to think of it, maybe i shouldn't have gone at all for the concert.. the free food was okay.

byebye my blog, msn and all the other stuff i usually do to waste time! until i get a laptop.. or cannot stand it and go online on my psp. which will be really quite pathetic.

wrong side of the bed

i feel inanely BORED and there's some random bigass ant flying about the room. i kinda feel like killing it. and kinda don't feel like killing it.

there's probably stuff to be done, i've just dragged out the clothes i'll be bringing to hall.. and felt rather bleh. like why am i doing this to myself. i should just stay at home within my comfort zone. and i thought about all the things i'll miss, like having so much space to myself. and all the things i'll have to put up with, that i don't know why i'm making myself put up with when i don't really have to put up with peeling formica, sleeping next to my study table. missing home and my mom. more blehh-ness.

now i understand why people have second thoughts.
i feel damn noob.
am highly irritated today.
don't like having nothing to do.. and don't like evening programs.. i wanna whine. i'm annoyed with my computer. it's boring. why do i like it in the first place. not making sense. SIAN is the word.

i was trying to remember when i last met people! and wow it's been AWHILE. the last time i had a mini class outing was yonghui's farewell on 30th june, and before that ecp on 21st june. it's almost 30th july! time doesn't just fly, it's supersonic! ok, actually it's the 4th dimension in physics but i don't know how that works. anw while trying to recall, i remembered that i didn't blog about 8th july! one of the busiest days in the month.. went for PRK checkup at NUH in the morning, zoomed to JE to meet sam to check out creative and daiso for koala's present, went cway point to print photos for her present, home to dump stuff and did some preparation before heading to town to find ed to buy MORE of koala's present.. this was the day i had blueberry cheese tart from depot heights once again! travelled to dhoby to eat dinner at manhattan fish market and recount camp! i love the creamy sauce rice on the seafood platter! and everything else on the seafood platter was yummy oso. then home to do present until late..

and the next day was ubin! it seemed rainy.. and i woke up sort of late?? coz it was raining and outing was postphoned slightly. can't believe organiser was so dutiful and responsible as to check weather forecast with met station!! hahaa.. i made him wait quite awhile for me since we were gonna take bus down together. oops. then we still hiked around the sports place before finally finding the lockers in the badminton sports hall to dump koala's present in. we gave her the present at some tampines mall playground! with a uber exciting i love alot feature! some centripetal force thingy that's like a merry-go-round for 1! actually i think 2 people can fit but oh well (: so the 9th was the last time i saw singtel and nigger.

went for the first yishun reading stars on the 11th! (: quite cute. i went again today (friday the 25th) but was quite tired out from the week of cracking my brains over laptop choices, and cleaning hall room! so i wasn't very energetic. next week probably can't go coz of hall orientation. hm.

met csc people for kbox on 14th! but there was no a, b and b out of the freshies.

15-18 was usp camp. 19 was recuperate day. and then came this week! what did i do this week? slack on monday. go for usp outing on tuesday. slack on wednesday while deciding whether to check in. check in and clean like mad for the whole day on thursday. go back school check out laptops today..

today (friday becoz i haven't slept yet) i trekked a big part of NUS.. recce-d all the sports facilities and finally went down to help for USP rag, which just involved cutting up drink cans to get bits of shiny blue aluminium.. sorted out into light blue, medium blue and dark blue lol.

went to check out the feel of the laptops at matric fair too! i'm deciding on the lenovo thinkpad t400. which means i won't be online during weekdays until 11aug when it's delivered.. unless i find an asus i like at a price i like. OR go for the fujitsu because i can't stand losing connectivity! but the PRICE =( sob.

anyway. i still feel like i'm wasting my life! somehow.. nothing concrete seems to be materialising. gonna make this change because just hoping that it will change won't do anything to it! random stuff comes out late at night LOL i dunno what i'm talking about lalala~

check-in

i checked into hall today! the room's not bad.. no direct sunlight, but there's wind! i'd like to complain about how ancient the wardrobe and furniture are though! all the formica was peeling.. and it was super dusty. i can't believe i spent four odd hours cleaning the stupid room.. and it's like such small floor area! i probably started cleaning at 2, and stopped at like 6pm, which is the time IT coop closes.. so i couldn't go and see the laptops -.-"

my hands feel gross after cleaning! =( i've never cleaned for so long in my life.. actually i've never cleaned an entire room by myself in my whole life. talk about pampered =P

the good thing is that after cleaning, the room smelt nicer =D the bad thing is that i had to spray insecticide after i finished.. so it'll probably smell like baygon the next time i go in, instead of the lavender floor cleaning liquid smell. hmm but at least there's space to move around in the room! after i cleaned it, i kinda decided it's not bad and that i like it!

the hall might be old, but there's a certain quaintness about it. AND there's a pool table =) and a piano! so that makes up for alot. hahaha =D moving in on monday! kinda excited, and apprehensive at the same time!

lappy woes

extremely irritated because i can't decide on a laptop to buy!! there doesn't seem to be a 14 inch that is less than 2kg in the market.. there are only 13.3" for that weight. alternatively i get my screen and carry around 500g more, which doesn't sound like much but if i had to lug my laptop around all day.. i'll definitely feel it! rawr.

next is which laptop to get! my senior keeps telling me: all laptops suck, it's a hit-and-miss thing. Acer laptops look the most value for money! but everyone says they don't last.. fujitsu has lousy battery life, lenovo is too heavy, sony too expensive! i want a matte screen.. so maybe should get a HP, which will be pretty and all that.. but i look at my hp desktop, which works perfectly fine except that it restarts on its own periodically! maybe it pms-es because somedays it runs like clockwork.. thus the notion of getting a HP laptop doesn't sit all that well with me! although they are having student price for the tablet pc..

rawr this is how annoying pls. why can't the perfect notebook just drop into my lap! as i carry on whining and whining.. just don't want to get conned by random old salespeople. i'll probably get an asus or toshiba or compaq/HP. meh. how troublesome. i'll go check out what they are offering at student price! because it bundles with programs that i'll need to buy outside otherwise.. why didn't i check out laptops at the IT fair.. WHY? lol =P

hmm should be checking in later today, sweep the place, and spray insecticide. plus take photos of my property (lol this feels so real estate hunting except i don't get a choice) so that i'll know what to get and what to put where and when i next return to mop and clean up, it'll be insect-free! (:

dodgy!

Dodgy is the word of the moment. It's the most used word within my og from usp camp! we were Torchio, apparently it's supposed to be obscure pasta names but for the camp it represented one of the seven deadly sins, anger. the camp was called fratello, and the theme was rather mafia-like. hmm what to say about the camp, firstly the complaints would be that the meals were lacking! except the bbq, which had marshmallows.. seriously kicked ass. but for breakfast there were no drinks! there were however, random carts of canned drinks and packet drinks like green tea and coke lying around - not very happy-fying for breakfast when people require milo.. and there was much more waiting time and stoning-around time than for my previous camp!

however, it was great fun getting to know people and play random games! haha i loved amazing race best.. i think it's the kind of activity that helps people get to know each other better than like, station games! because there are random travelling times and finding food time =D and i went clubbing for the first time in my life.. granted, it was quite boring because what i discovered (and ought to have known) was that clubbing constitutes two things: drinking and dancing. and since i stood by my principles and didn't drink, that left dancing! but the music was really quite horrible.. so i ended up stoning and watching people play pool.. was quite seh-ded! but it sorta re-ignited my love for pool! i want to know how to hit the hard shots.

games-wise, i think all camps are more or less similar! we had dirty station games on land (think fish, chilli sauce, paint), wet/beach station games, war games - used the same ammo of water bombs, but no water guns this time! prev camp had super soakers buried in the sand, and you had to dig for them :P our camp at aloha loyang clashed with SIM camp at the same venue, and since they koped the good spots, we had to walk quite far for beach games. hmm the different part about this camp was the lack of Secret Pal, although they were also funded by SDU! apparently sdu pay by the time couples spend together.. so they just grabbed random people at random times and made them pose together and pretend to be couple-y -.-" quite lame. i got caught during bbq and had to look happy eating.. oh well, not very hard considering i was holding a perfectly-bbq-ed marshmallow =P

the other differences included the well-thought-out storyline! i thought the videos were really good =) kudos to the creator.. although the ending was rather anti-climatic. hahaa. and we had some pageant thing right at the beginning where we had to dress up our chosen pageant people, and create their getaway vehicle and weapon! we had the "hellevator", and a cool trident made from some poles and 3 torches! the hellevator was actually a gardenia box.. we crossed out the "eat" and changed it to "so good, you can ride it on its own" LOL. we learnt USP mass dance and cheer too! quite fun.. but my dancing still cmi so i just anyhow moved xD

one of the more memorable experiences was fright night! because we went to some old commando camp.. i kept thinking we were at old CGH la.. so ok i told people the wrong thing, but all the same because my mind was fixated on it being old cgh, it made it damn scary for me =( i was really really terrified and screamed alot! they were EVIL, they split us up.. so we had to do stuff ALONE! it's enough being in a strange place alone, then you have to be in the dark, and people are scaring you! rawr. i don't see how people can be not scared and laugh at the ghosts.. i haven't done anything really bad, but i have no idea why i'm so scared of the dark and stuff like that! maybe i'm really scared of the dark. hahaa. at least i managed to get through it =D yay proud of myself for not stopping! or maybe, my subconscious was telling me that if i acted scared enough, they'd be nicer to me =) that must be it! because the moment i got out of the place and under the comforting street lamps, amongst people, i was perfectly fine.. or save face ;P before that, we'd watched some funny horror film that made no sense to whatever we were going to go through. haha shrugs. it wasn't scary the moment i made sense of the movie! and we took a lorry to the venue and had to climb up crumbly steps without a torchlight because our ogl forgot to tell us to bring! but it was quite fun =D

anw wanna complain about my hair! =( the fringe is so short! it's what xr used to call boy's fringe. and it's straggly coz the aunty thinned it too much.. it's ugly. so irritating.

today i had usp og outing! i organised it! haha the first outing i've organised that had quite alot of people turn up =) so i'm happy. actually probably the first outing i've organised ever! whee. they rock just for the fact that they arrived, despite the complaints about "what are we going to do?" and that Everyone of them calls me "Dodgy". i have no idea why! and a new nickname was formed during camp. ate alot. like ALOT! MOF - salmon sashimi salad and shared matcha sundae! yum. Gelare waffles at halfprice with low fat apple pie crunch yoghurt ice cream! and then dinner with mommy. pls do not eat at the asian kitchen if you crave xiaolongbao. 1. the vinegar is like soysauce that has turned sour. 2. the xlb at imperial treasure, marina sq is much better so save your money and go there instead. however, the signature fried rice with beef was not bad but i didn't like the place! haha. so i won't be going back there. actl wanted to go menotti! but it's GONE =( i was so devastated. rawr. where did it run to???

deciding whether to check into hall tmr =D i know where my room is alr tho!

we'll never know till we try

i almost fell asleep on the sofa while taking five reading a book, when the kettle started whistling. hurrah for the kettle =S made some miso soup and decided to come and blog about the last day of camp instead.

the book i'm reading now is intellectually-stimulating, uses an expansive array of grammar and is about the socratic method, also known as elenchus, which is hellenistic greek for inquiry or cross-examination. hahaa it's quite exciting, and seems good for recovering various terms that i haven't used in awhile! philosophy rox =)

anw on to Day 4:

woke up groggily, but we could sleep in later (like half an hour lol -.-) because they'd chartered a bus to fetch us to sentosa, palawan beach! but only got 2.5h sleep that day. i swear we must have run back and forth along the entire length of the beach 6-8 times..

Sentosa Games-
it was station games! and fun =D there was a twist, each group had 3 sabo cards they could use! and if they won, the other group had to do the forfeit while your own group gets bonus points.. the sabos were 1. human muah-chee, 2. human pyramid, 3. camo cream makeover.. our group had to do the first two, but were spared the last! which was highly fortunate because one of my councillors was scaring us about the side-effects of camo - pimple outbreak! he used to not have any pimples, until army and camo.. =S how lucky we didn't tio.

there were 6 stations in total!
1. Dodgeball= there were two parts to this, first one involved racing and scrambling to get as many balls as you can. second one was the actual game! our teams were split into two. so there were 2 matches! ended up 1-1, so there was a tiebreaker that we won eventually =D my ogmate was quite paiseh, coz he hit the girl who had been his movie date.. but it was all for the victory! =)

2. wugui wugui tiao= some children's game where you can't have the same action. and the objective is for the entire team to roll into the water! the first team who is completely wet first wins.. it's like self-muah-cheeing.. lol but mokuze fell in love with muah-chee! because we were so pro at it =D we'd lost at the first part of the game so we were further from the free roll line, the starting line where once one team reaches that, all the teams can start rolling towards the water!

if in the first part, the wugui game, if you'd won more times, the team would be nearer to the water. teams are lined up in a row, lying on the sand, and every win from the wugui game entitles the team to one roll, so you'd be closer to the free roll line! haha my group was further but we rolled damn fast and we won! i remember when i was rolling all i could see was sky, sand, ogmate's legs! i think i rolled off course coz i'm supposed to see his head not his legs.. HAHA so i siam and just ROLLED into the water =D overtaking him so fun! that's how we fell in love with muah-chee.

3. Twin towers= supposed to be a tag team race where we complete stations! we lost this one.. and the opposite team used muahchee sabo card, which wasn't a big deal since we were all wet and we loved muahchee! HAHA so fun =D and we won the bonus cheering points coz we were all high after rolling into the sea LOL

LUNCH BREAK: the chicken rice was the best! did i mention that everyday, we had one chicken dish for lunch and dinner? LOL coz it was cai beng. but sentosa day, was real chicken rice with veggies! yay for veggies =D

4. WAR= girls were piggybacked by guys.. and held a bottle of water. we were supposed to go and snatch and empty the bottles of the opposing team.. rawr =( i didn't like it. it was unstable! and i didn't wanna be piggybacked but no choice. luckily we were immersed in water so it wasn't so heavy for him.. sian.

i was damn scared of falling or getting scratched by the other girls! we were number 4, so when the councillor called 4, we had to go and fight the opposing 4! i just kept hiding from the other people instead of being violent like use him as a shield to protect the bottle then when got chance, try to grab. but wow the other girls were REALLY violent.. i was more concerned with trying not to fall off =X scary!! but we won, because at the last free-for-all fight i managed to GRAB HOLD of one girl's bottle and snatched it away and upended it.. that was like my only moment of glory =D heehee! i was the only one who totally emptied someone's bottle. anyway, everyone cheated la.. got chance will sneakily re-fill bottles.. except that time there was no chance! i seized the correct moment despite being terrified of falling =D LALAA~

5. psychomotor game= they gave us coloured flags and read a passage.. the flags were supposed to be held up or down by the end of the passage, and you're supposed to listen for it! but well, apparently my group wasn't good at it because at the end of the first passage we only had one contender left.. LOL so we lost.. and had to do a human pyramid.

6. treasure hunt! = this was quite fun, except it involved alot of running. we got pro at putting pieces of puzzle that formed our group's logo together =D yay.

FINALE=
we were trailing horribly by the first station! no idea how the other groups managed to get water into the bottles so fast to fill it up to the mark. i think they just kept running for water. our strategy failed. hmm. and the worst thing was every station was AT LEAST half the distance of palawan beach away! so we were running back and forth SO MANY TIMES. plus the sand was super hard to run on.. i want to train by running on sand! i think it's way more effective, except some sand was very scratchy and i'd had sand abrasions on my feet after mass games the day before.. so it was VERY PAINFUL.. but just kept running loh! 2 of the female freshies also had abrasions then they stopped playing so councillors had to sub in, coz one involved broken skin and plasters that wouldn't stay on!

i'm looking at mine NOW. it looks like a burn scar.. no wonder so pain! because when the wound had been fresh, it had just been a thin red line and i was wondering why on earth it hurt so much. the other abrasions on my feet were just scratches so heck. my legs are disfigured! LOL besides the stupid deep scar from falling on stadium steps in JC that's black, i now have a myriad of bruises on my knees and shins! rawr.

anyway we ended up 4th! =D not bad from last place =D hahaa. anw, palawan beach's sea near the kou fu foodcourt is really dirty. i do not advise visiting it. there were random bits of garbage floating in it with us.. GROSS.

i really almost lost my voice at sentosa! even now, its condition is fluctuating.. hahaa i ate a LOT of pi pa gao at costa sands pasir ris, which is where we stayed for the last night! the buses fetched us there after we'd washed up and changed to the E5 shirt =) it's yellow, so there were alot of bumblebees flitting about! LOL.

Sp Revelation-
well, it wasn't a revelation for him, but it was for me! haha i'm glad i got him as my sp though, he was entertaining and friendly =) one of my councillors came up to us and said "you look different without the blindfold" to him! LOL and previously, another of the female councillors had told me that "your SP has good bottom half of face, but i cannot see the top half of the face"! so funny! like i even cared about looks =) i hope he wasn't disappointed with his present tho.. because it was really last minute.. but i gave him a netherlands poster amongst other small things! rawr. it was nice. got van persie.. i sorta wanted it.

we had buffet dinner, finally something other than chicken! there was sweet and sour fish, fried rice, noodles, some chicken thing, curry veggies and cup pudding! quite yummy, i liked the fish best! and councillors tried to be matchmake-y again, but with blindfolds off, things were different coz you can fend them off better! less vulnerable =) we talked more, it was nice getting to know a new friend better =D

adjourned to function room! along the way, they made us find our photo that they took when we were blindfolded. i look ugly =( he looks nice. rawr. then we did the SP dance in the function room! hahaa actually more like we tried to follow whatever the councillors did, i was really confused by all the turning.. like i've been proclaiming vigorously: i can't dance. =D my SP had to leave immed aft coz he had some ndp stuff to do but he was really nice to stay until the dance ended =)

Talenttime-
we showcased our dance! it was a combination of firstly, the kungfu hustle axe gang dance! and secondly, taiwanese variety show's tai ke wu! we had alot of fun =D which was the most important, besides winning best dance xD wahaa! but i forgot the first step and felt really awful =( though everyone didn't even remember or said it didn't matter. but i'll remember it forever! rawr.. i guess winning takes away some of the guilt. if we hadn't won, i'd have blamed myself forever.. i think. NAH. probably would have tried to forget it =D and being a shan bian de dong wu, probably can! LOL.

the pageant part wasn't that successful so i think the organising councillor felt bad coz he drank the forfeit mixture. like this HUGE blender of apples, egg and tofu! which was like eww, and someone else took over the hosting.. sigh. why do people put so much responsibility on themselves? we're just there to have fun! =P ok i'm being totally contradictory. and it's ironic that i'm saying such a thing.. haha =D pageant consisted of the couples playing twister and picking tasks for their groups to complete.. yup.

lastly, the councillors put up a mini performance and it was mass-singing, a.k.a. KBOX! we got quite high =) yay.

following that, we slacked around, then went for supper at macs where the other 3 female freshies fell asleep.. lol. i didn't even want to sleep! it was the last night, why sleep.. but everyone was so tired! played some cards at macs before returning to chalet where we continued with indian poker but they sent off sleepy vibes that we all went to bed in the end.. and when we woke up other groups were already awake and hyper! i was super stoned after sleeping so not very active.. then we went for lunch and went home.. where i crashed for 18 hours!

haha i've finally finished recounting csc camp. wow. it was a wonderful journey =)

to add-on

recounting stuff is fun! but you realise that you miss out somethings sometimes. i like looking back, and trying to remember! and when you manage to relive moments in your mind, they will stay there longer.. that's the way to study and think about current events too =P but that's unrelated.

i would like to talk about koala's birthday celebrations, which were yesterday! her birthday was today, but we decided to give her her present on ubin day =) after ubin, and a LOT of persuading since everyone was lazy to go back to tampines mall because they all had direct buses, but it was necessary! sam and i had deposited koala's present in tampines sports hall before meeting them for mcas breakfast and ubin and needed to go back to get it rawr.. mcgriddles are yummy =) but not really worth the price and fats.

yeah so we had teppanyaki express for dinner at TM basement! i haven't been to tm in ages.. and we made our way to the playground on the 4th floor to give koala her present! =) i hope she liked it, we gave her hargreaves and a leashed koala magnet LOL. =) i spent qt awhile cutting and pasting the photos! actually wanted to decorate the albums more but there were time constraints to take into account. =P there was a spinning thing at the playground that i LOVED. omg =) so fun! hahahaa but everyone else couldn't take it.. and they spun gerard for so long on it, everytime he yelled stop, they would stop it and change direction! until he yelled enough.. poor guy. we explored the playground and returned to find him still spinning on the machine! kudos to his tolerance levels =P

tuesday morning was spent at NUH lasik centre.. omg from 0830 to 12+, i sat there! the evaluations by machines were very quick, but had to wait for the senior consultant to arrive! and he was stuck at the eye clinic -.-" so i waited and waited and got increasingly hungry and irritated! because needed to buy koala's present. yes, we are last minute people. and finally! it was over. the visit was so anticlimatic.. apparently i have dry eyes and it might be a problem, because a side effect of the procedure is dry eyes.. wdv! lol!

rushed over to JE. where i tried to find the creative building that i've never seen except from the mrt, nor been to in my life, but being the pro-direction-sensor i am =) i made my way there! although it was quite a roundabout route.. i refused to cut through grass! hahahaa. but there wasn't anything.. all sam's fault! ok la, not his fault. met him there then moved off to IMM daiso! where we bought most of the stuff and i went home..

went out again near the evening! i managed to stick one photo at home =) met ed at orchard cine where we bought mrs field's cookies and he bluffed everyone that i sampled alot! i was just bored waiting for him to pay lor.. rawr. i don't think they are that wonderful =P prefer famous amos and subway cookies! we tried to find a koala at the 2nd floor gift shop but there was nothing! so. had to go taka. and we managed to get a koala magnet! =D it's cute! and a notebook, which i decorated with a sailormoon-eyed koala. LOL. jon met us halfway and we had yummy depot heights cheese tart! ed should thank me, he zhuan dao! LOL then dinner at manhattan fish market where i was so bloated -.-" there were a bunch of noisy girls and a guy there! and when they left, it was like wow, the restaurant is so peaceful now HAHA. then it was home to do koala's present! w00t. slept at 2am.. hoped like mad i wouldn't fall or cycle into the sea the next day, and phew, i didn't =D

monday was slack at home to recover and read NUS package day. i wanted to do all the stuff! but it only opened 9 july, so i did it today =) except we haven't got a matric no.. so the forms that require that have to wait. how irritating!

i woke up late today too. nevermind, waking up at 7am tmr to run! now that sounds quite tiring.. but i've made up my mind! there's still one more day of camp to blog about =D maybe i'll challenge it tomorrow. gnite! it's the start of a new day already! w00t. 12.30am.

camp part 2!

Day 2 (cont'd):
SP II-
this was the longest SP meeting ever! because we played games.. one of it involved us moving forward, blindfolded, with a pingpong ball between our hips! another involved us feeding the other person a drink made from 2 types of drinks and guessing what's inside! we got it right =D yay! it was fruitade and she cao shui!

OH on mysterious journey, we had to guess types of food in boxes too! and the food was covered in starch -.-" there was like. white fungus. melon seeds (gua zi) and other "interesting things" but i've digressed again. argh wait i'm confused. did we play games on SP II or III?! wdv. lol.. when you have so many activities going on, and you're tired, they tend to blur!

solve a murder mystery by visiting characters in different rooms in temasekhall! we didnt manage to visit all the characters but sort of managed to guess it (with lots of help) HEHE. =P it was fun!!

Talenttime practice-
until very late. LOL. and they ate cup noodles everynight for supper when we had to practice dance! except the first night, where we went fong seng! actually we went to the prata shop next door, where i drank teh halia =) i didn't eat supper! yay.


Day 3:
Mass Games at west coast park-
we split into different groups, and i was in PINK -.-" we called ourselves pinkies though so it wasn't that bad.. and we had a pinky and the brain cheer! LOL. quite fun =D the people were nice =D

1. finding your group member's names on pieces of card on the floor, then running towards the end

2. climbing the rope pyramid to get pieces of puzzle! and doing tasks when you pick puzzle pieces that have a star behind. we danced chicken dance, drank 1.5l of water, made a star using our bodies on the floor, cheered.. etc. =P

3. captain's ball using rotten papaya and banana. my groupmate threw a banana and it almost hit my face! omg >< so SMELLY. luckily i caught it in time..but some splattered on my shirt. gg-ded. and the papaya just DISINTEGRATED despite them plastering it with masking tape, all the flesh squished out! and we end up playing with the skin.. and when people threw it overhead, omg, all the flesh started sprinkling EVERYONE. eww. the defenders kena-ed most of it! >< gross. luckily i wore black. we decided to just let them win coz it was too gross to touch. LOL.

4. grabbing clothes pegs from guys shirts >< they pegged it to their shirts and girls supposed to go and take. but the stupid guys from the other team hid them INSIDE their shirts! and like their armpits and stuff =( which was playing cheat! i didnt wanna reach my hand INSIDE someone's shirt >< ewww. so our team lost =( coz our guys played fair! and the other group's girls just groped everywhere apparently =S poor guys, they seemed quite traumatised!

5. softball using a frisbee! yay pinkies were pro =D we pwned the other team with many homeruns! hahahaa and intercepted alot =D whee. coz they kept running from their bases and got stuck in the middle when we caught the frisbee! anw, the strategy is when there's someone at 3rd base, you just throw it home! esp since the other team tried to use the drop the frisbee on the floor strategy so cannot catch fly balls! so easy to tag people out la.. my team was quite slow to catch onto that and i was at 2nd base =S so hard to tell people what to do from so far! rawr but we still won =D so nvm! yay.

6. AEIOU, the children's game! needed to go and grab water bottles and kope rubberbands from them without getting caught by the "god". hahahaa quite fun =D i tried to act as the screen! dunno if i succeeded.

7. paired us up and had to complete some stations! like squeeze a wet t-shirt to fill a bottle up to a certain level. must carry the t-shirt between us, so i guess the point of that was to get people wet -.-" lame. then run and use a body part, hands not allowed, to crush a piece of ice! we used our forearms LOL. then run somemore. throw darts at a board. abit hard :S so we were slower rawr. then burst a water balloon! my partner bit it open LOL. then run back! hahahaa oh well =D qt fun.

next was redbull introduction! made in AUSTRIA, not thailand. and got reduced sugar version. omg. LOL. guess redbull was a sponsor. anw we got free redbull which gave energy..actl i felt sleepier after drinking it! but it was quite nice =) but lame. THEN FINALE. WAR GAMES! whoo! i dun think anyone cared who won! it was all out fight between the teams first. then, a rush for the supersoakers which had been buried in the sand as it was gonna be freshies v councillors! RAWR. i got sand in my EARS. and everywhere thanks to one ogmate but i got my revenge =D heehee. got soaked by councillors though. lol! and my slipper strap came out when my KC (key councillor) stepped on my slipper LOL! it was tough but we managed to push it back in! LOL! so funny. then walked back to NUS =) apparently people jog at wcp. but it's quite ulu so i dunno if i'll do that, must find someone or someones to jog with me!

went back to wash up. got some sand out then cldnt be bothered to change, just washed off the banana and papaya and freshened up abit! hahaa =P and it was off to faculty talks then SP III and movie date! wh00sh!

Faculty Talks-
split into faculties for lunch and the seniors told us more about what to expect! quite funny coz i was like the only ME person! so my SP found out who i was. but i didnt really bother to find out who he was =P hahahaa. next!

SP III-
Today's SP meeting was significantly shorter and he talked less maybe coz he found out who i was and didnt wanna give himself away or mebbe he was disappointed! xD LOL sorry i not chio =P haha! and i guess it was short because we had movie date later, with another person -.-" and were gonna learn the SP dance with that person! SP dance was danced to So Close, from enchanted ost.. haha so we played a guess a movie game while waiting for SP meeting to be over.

i think the councillors were quite irritated, coz it wasn't what they wanted! and they kept wanting me to hold his hand.. which was like whaat. why do i want to hold a random person's hand just because you ask me to! it's so weird! they tried to pull my arm but i was too strong =D so they pulled his hand over instead -.-" sigh. and we had to play some stupid game, like i'm supposed to use my hand to form an animal shape, and he gotta feel the shape and guess it! fortunately time was up before we could start playing =D hehe. actl i can't remember if this was II or III but nvm =)

MOVIE DATE a.k.a. the most memorable night of the entire camp so i'll take longer to recount it-

so while we were still blindfolded from SP meeting, they led us over to our partner for the night! i overheard him telling the councillors he was tarzan, i.e. my friend's SP! haha so i was like wow, so qiao. he was an interesting fellow, the moment we started talking, he started interrogating me like a councillor! "how's your SP? Attached not? Nice?" and the like.. hahaa. and the second thing he told me was "i'm attached!" and "my gf is probably going to kill me if she found out about these" LOL i was quite amused =) but his gf is lucky! their relationship is probably very strong =D hahaa so cute.

yep so we learnt the SP dance, and promptly forgot it not long after! because there were technical difficulties with the movie screening, it got delayed and we were given time to practise for talentime! thus the dance moves were overridden by talenttime dance moves =)

on a side note, we won best dance! HAHA despite my forgetting the first step of the second part on the actual performance =( i felt horrible! must have been the result of so little sleep, and the transition btw first and second part involved alot of shaking and free movement, i think i shook my head too much =( rawr. nvm.

ok so we went for movie date eventually, and they put two chairs between each pair in the LT! the chairs were comfy! and then, because it's an SDU sponsored camp, they started telling us about SDU, and told us that during the movie, they would pull pairs out to do compatibility test.. which was how =.=" seriously. and they told us we would watch a romantic movie omg. the movie was Midnight Sun, a jap movie (Taiyou no uta) or something.. and it started off quite boring-ly! until i realised the female lead is YUI, and she started playing the song It's Happy Line, which is a great song! haha.. the horriblest part is that they dragged us out just when the male lead was appearing and it was getting interesting! ok it wasn't the horriblest part.. but it was irritating. they pulled out two pairs at a time.. fortunately (:

we did a stupid questionnaire then they told us to follow a road and read the love stories along the way.. which was like damn omg la. (oh crap. i just dropped a sunflower seed i think.. need to find! rawr. i can't find it. too bad. continuing,) so the 4 of us walked along a road, and read the cards.. and were like -.-" ok. it's quite an interesting story but so..SDU. lol! when we finished we were like, where do we go from here! luckily one of us spotted a councillor standing up ahead so we moved forward.. and the next station was a romantically-decorated car =.=" in which we were supposed to sit and listen to romantic music while they drove us to our next destination, coz it was quite far away.. totally sianded and amused at the same time during the drive! and yay we finally reached! they told us it was a dessert station so we were very happy and anticipating food. hee =D

there was a female councillor there and she led us into the room! which was furnished with a table, a laptop, a single candle on top of the table, four chairs and some shelves plus an olden looking bell! the menu was mango pudding or tiramisu! so we ordered 2 each and she told us to watch a vid on the laptop while waiting for her.. and if the vid finishes playing, i think the instructions were to go out and find her, but we weren't really paying attention coz the thought of food was too enticing =) she then closed the door! i wonder if she locked it.. the vid played and it was the exact same story we read on the way up to the car! and then, near the end, they started putting in scary pictures like a doll's head, a clown's mask, blood, etc. -.-" that was the first clue that it was going to be a night walk. sian. the other groups watched the horror movie "Seeing Ghosts" after midnight sun, so i guess they guessed that it would be a nightwalk, but we were the second group outta the LT, so we didnt know! rawr. i was damn scared throughout the whole thing! luckily my movie date was gentlemanly >< and not scared.. hahaa. i doubt i'll ever forget it! unless the next camp has a worse fright night..

anyway, while we were waiting coz none of us listened to the instructions she gave, we were super bored so started discussing which laptop to buy, where to buy and explored the laptop! but we felt kinda bad, though we were bored.. the bell above rang once! but i saw the string leading out the window and we all knew it was just someone pulling it.. so we ignored it and continued sitting inside! LOL then, we wondered what would happen if we blew out the candle, they'd Have to come and pay attention to us then right? it was an idea but the act that put the candle out was totally unplanned, someone was playing with the menu and put it down on the table in a fanning motion that took out the candle! omg so we sat inside by the light of the laptop.. until cmi, started wondering if we should open the door. us girls were scared so the guys went to open the door! i was staring at the window all the time, in case someone decided to boo us from there >< paranoia.. when the door opened a sign fell out! and there was task.. to find a particular obituary from the next room, which was totally plastered with obituaries.. the tricky part was that we were supposed to use the candle to find it.. but we had blown out the candle! so we were like omgomg..

the room was so dark! so i stood outside with the other girl, shuang ying, while the guys went in! >< we were holding each other's hand damn tightly and i was looking around in all directions for ambushes! omg.. the guys came out with some newspapers and told us they had found it, but nothing happened! so we decided to walk and follow the green light sticks on the ground.. as we were walking the guys whispered that actually they hadn't been able to find the obituary, and this was a bluff! by taking the newspapers, someone should come running after us, and true enough the female councillor suddenly reappeared, shouting for us to return the newspapers! LOL and told us to follow the green lightsticks after we had explained that we had had no candle to find stuff with -.-"

so we walked on.. like marching to our doom. okay, maybe it was only me who was feeling that! as in, i knew they would all be human, and i had no guilty conscience but i was still scared! don't ask me why.. =( i didn't want to be scared! i felt so weak and vulnerable.. damn irritating. RAWR. where did my guts go! i bet if i had been alone i'd have just.. died or something. so much for independence! me..noob. lol. rah. i don't understand why guys aren't scared! i'm annoyed. i need to learn how to be not scared. are they weird! =( ROARRRR

[ok i like how far we've come from matchbox 20 too. i shan't play so close anymore! i think i looped it too much but back to the story.. oh and i got firefox 3! i can finally dl stuff using firefox =D whee]

we came to a house. it was a haunted house. i screamed. LOL. ok that's hardly interesting. we were approaching the house, i had columns and statues outside! and i saw, a girl with long hair, white dress and white face sitting next to a statue.. so i screamed!!!! rawr =( i was so scared. even though i knew she was a councillor and human! the makeup was so real.. and their acting was so pro! =( and i wanted to run away but we had to walk TO the house! omg.. ='( they were so fierce, i think the first group was warm-up and by the time we reached they were in character already! i was like gripping sy's hand quite tightly.. and the councillor kept wanting to touch me! =X rawr.. i wish i'd eyes at the back of my head! i didn't dare turn my back on her once.. so i was twisting around and jumping about to get away! but when we got in the house, i think sy seemed more scared than me so they picked her and her partner to go upstairs instead!!!

the female ghosts so fierce k.. and my partner and i were standing at the bottom of the stairs, when the door next to us OPENED omg. i think i just reacted by pushing it close! coz i saw more long hair and my partner joined in..and we pushed quite hard! the ghost was angry.. actually i think the female councillor was just acting angry, she should have expected it what! when a door opens and something you don't want to let out is pushing the door open, it makes sense to push it CLOSE! omg.. =( i was quite traumatised. it was a maze and we had to walk in to find her HAND. i kept hiding behind my movie date, kaiming =( and i tugged at his shirt abit!

but i only held his hand ONCE throughout the entire journey when he offered it k! i think.. because i couldn't take it anymore. then i let go after awile coz i'm BRAVE. rawr! but that's like not in chronological order.. and out of point.

so we walked in and i was super scared that there'd be another person inside to boo us! but luckily i think they got manpower shortage =D haha phew. she kept trying to touch me with the hand, and when i let it touch me, i realised chey styrofoam! but. i was still scared. don't ask me why. i'm just a noob. so we went out! and the female councillor asked us to go up the stairs, but the one on top kept asking us to go down, so we were stuck in the middle of the stairs wondering which way to go =.=" that part was quite HUH.!?. but we didnt have to go upstairs in the end, the other pair came clattering down LOL

my partner asked one of the councillors for water! because he had sore throat.. and she was super professional as a ghost! she asked him "you want blood or water?" before going to get him water. LOL. i was quite amused to see electric light in the kitchen. then they chased us out "angrily". so fierce la! you had to be there to feel it. haha and by that time, shuangying was holding her partner's hand quite tightly already and didn't let go all the way to the end of the journey.. so funny! HAHA =P SDU accomplished their motive. anyway that was just the second station..

and there was more to come.

3rd station wasn't very scary though =) phew. it was a ouijia board with an overturned teacup and we were all supposed to place our fingers on the teacup! but i think we pressed too hard, so when one of the female councillors was asking a question, the male councillor who had his finger on the board and would pretend to be possessed couldn't move it! so she said "place your fingers on the teacup GENTLY" LOL. me and movie date started sniggering.. and couldn't stop. then the male councillor sniggered too! AND we thought our laughter had been too contagious so we started laughing OUT LOUD! but it turned out he was trying to act possessed..lol.. so when he fell on to the floor and started spasming, we were sorta stunned into silence.

the next part was to find the ghost's body -.-" which ended up becoming finding the "wooden tablet" and putting incense in front of it. the surprise was someone in the bushes near the piece of cardboard that served as the tablet! the bushes suddenly moved and both me and km screamed/shouted (respectively) because it was quite unexpected! we wondered later how long the dude had had to hide in the bushes.. and it's quite scary to be there yourself..

actually i think it was the overall atmosphere that made it scary! thinking about it objectively, and reconciling it with what i felt that night, makes me feel like my reactions made no sense! but i guess at that moment, that'd have been what i felt! i was holding a bottle of water in one hand at one point in time, and i didnt throw it at anyone! it sort of made me think, if i had been alone walking along a road, with a weapon and someone attacked me, would i also not use the weapon? or was it because i subconsciously knew they weren't out to harm me, and so refrained from retaliating? haha..

anyway, we moved on to ANOTHER house. the houses are seriously the freakiest. this time, we were split into pairs again, and took opposite directions with essentially similar tasks, to find some doll/teddy bear that was headless. and then find its head! which was in the toiletbowl. i'm thankful and grateful to my partner, who did all the work.. i just tagged along!! esp since the head was in a toiletbowl >< which i assumed they cleaned and filled with starch.. we got the doll, and a jumping little girl ghost. the other team got the teddy bear, and a girl playing a recorder ghost! but i'd rather have gone the other side, because it was one of my og's councillors there! and apparently, the moment he saw our faces, his acting failed.. and he couldn't be fierce! so it was more funny than scary.. turns out the little girl ghost was one of my councillors too! hahaa.

omg i just realised that i followed the schedule, but actually movie date was on day 3! not day 2 so i told people the wrong stuff but nvm i blogged correctly now coz i've edited it LOL.

anw then we regrouped, and had to go downstairs (Because we went up an external staircase to get into the house). there was another "ghost" crawling about at the bottom of the stairs! and apparently, the route was very similar to the horror movie the other pairs got to "enjoy". LOL. luckily i didn't watch, otherwise i might have screamed more!

the last part of the route involved us splitting up and crawling into individual tunnels.. i think i acted real scared =P i was trying to tear (but couldn't) SO they gave me an easier tunnel! =D haha! but i was still scared because previously there was at least one person with you, and now you're ALONE. omg so as i crawled and nothing happened, i was anticipating something. luckily no one grabbed my arm or leg! someone just went BOO. but i SCREAMED. and i pushed aside the cardboard, only to reveal the "ghost"! white face and black shirt and all that. so i screamed again!! and pushed the cardboard back >< causing the tunnel to collapse abit and i scrambled out! LOL.

apparently km hit a dead end, and was supposed to turn back, but he just pushed the "deadend" and the cardboard fell! and he climbed out! LOL councillors popped out of the maze as he was climbing! HAHAA but they all ducked back in again as he looked around. that was quite funny.. it was enjoyable thinking about it AFTERwards. and i felt bad about the tunnel until i realised i wasn't the only one who had destroyed stuff! LOL. =) an interesting adventure! very memorable.

after that i spent HOURS stoning and waiting for everyone to finish. all the guys from my group were the LAST to return.. grr. and after that we had to practise more for talenttime, since the performance was the next day! finished practice at 4am.. and slept at 5+! hahaa got 2.5hours of sleep, then it was day 4.. sentosa, SP revelation and talenttime. wow. we did alot.. and i'll continue later! 9pm vball show soon in half an hour liddat omg =P so fast. whee shall listen to viva la vida.

Going to do NUS registration online soon! because it only opens on 9th july, which was yesterday, and went ubin yesterday to cycle =D today is rest and recuperation day.. there was supposed to be E5 mass games but i was too tired to move from the comfort of home =S should be going out tomorrow tho! =) life has been quite good recently, what with entertaining OG mass convos, and random outings.. plus the hype from camp is still keeping me amused! i really enjoy this feeling of being busy! because idle minds are the devil's playground ;P and i get bored really easily.

went ubin yesterday with colleagues! it was super fun, minus the customary complaints of mosquitos, the ever-increasing inventory of bruises and cuts as they are gradually discovered after the trip, i found one on my hip i dunno how! rawr and i want to whine about the bike! it was horribly ill-proportioned. and when i tried to sit straight and cycle, which would be more comfortable, i COULDN'T REACH the handlebars omg. so had to bend the shoulders and curve the back slightly.. irritating pls, especially when. the top-tube was longer than my body probably! maybe i have a short body or short arms omg.. because after the ride i measured against koala's and mine were shorter!! anthropological screw-up?! oh no.. i'm concerned because you need to pass certain anthropological measurements to get into RSAF due to the length of the cockpit.. argh. nvm that's totally unrelated.

the point is that it was uncomfortable and the seat hurt =( but it was fun zooming down the slopes and i love biking! =D the thrill of speeding wh00sh! except. koala fell down a slope -.-" while talking to ed. we think she might have pressed the brakes too hard at one shot. i was behind, thanks to the discomfort, i was riding quite slowly.. fine maybe i was noob. rawr. but i couldnt push myself =( i think i have low pain threshold, but selective because different types of pain and discomfort affect me.. yeah anyway, ed was telling her not to jam brakes coz he was zooming down behind her quite quickly! then she suddenly FELL. i was stunned. and i was near the back so i saw it all, first she was upright, then suddenly she was on the ground and i was like wth.. =X

we went to the police station to get her wounds cleaned! so exciting, i think the second time i've been inside one, the first was to change address on IC LOL. anyway, i was a noob yesterday, part of team 2! which was like the 3 people at the back and our team motto was "when all else fails, just give up la!" LOL. everytime we saw people in front stop and push bikes, i'd start laughing and have to get off to push the bike too.. xD very amused. anw i think sam wanted to try harder trails! but we were all too noob at it, we attempted to go onto the black diamond trail but kinda failed.. first time dirt-biking k! =X next time, better get bikes with suspension.. my butt/groin pain =( maybe it's permanently bruised.. i'm glad i'm recovering at home but i feel so lazy! maybe go running later.

i'm addicted to So Close by Jon Maclaughlin from the enchanted ost! =) it was the secret pal dance song.. i'll continue blogging about camp! haha yay. the song is super duper nice and i've been looping it. i like the lyrics too =D but that's random.. ok i shall continue blogging about camp after i do NUS registration =) OH NO there's bball on tv now. how. heck bball. do NUS then watch bball and blog! i wish i had a laptop so i can watch tv and be online =( psp is lousy to go online with. i tried ONCE. it was.. too tedious though relatively entertaining. i need to find more synonyms for entertaining, amusing, and interesting! diverting is lousy.

back from camp (2 days later)!

Broke camp on saturday morning and it's now monday! i spent the past two days in a state of semi-stonedness.. went to see relatives off yesterday, and today i read my NUS registration package! i shall register in awhile, after i finish blogging.

i need to declare that i slept the longest i've ever slept in my LIFE from saturday afternoon at 4 plus, to sunday morning at 11am! a grand total of 18hours! the previous record was 12 hours, and it was surpassed by 6hours omg. lol.. amazing.. and the most hilarious thing is that i fell asleep while cleaning my ears of sand! i was lying on my parent's bed and cleaning my ears when i just conked out, crashed for 18hours, and didnt wake up at all.. apparently my mom came home to find me with a cotton bud in one hand, and tissue paper filled with used cotton buds in the other, asleep in a cleaning ear position on the bed! haha..obviously she removed the stuff and gave me my seal and pillow in return =) but wow. i'm still amazed that i managed to just fall asleep like that! must have been the result of lack of sleep, since throughout camp, only slept 3-4 hours a day, or less! brilliant.

but i must say, Ethelonter V, organised by NUS CSC was a success! i loved the camp, and i kinda miss having camp because it was so BUSY. every second was activity filled, and all the activities were so fun even though i was ultra-seh-ded at times! plus i lost weight! =D please don't let me put it back on by being sedentary at home for just one week.. ok let me break the camp down into days and recount:

Day 1:
Icebreakers-
Self-explanatory. plus we learnt a few cheers! our signature cheer was alamak wassapa, pilipala, aibupa! LOL. and i think the ba gua cheer is really cute (: and fly kite was useful.

Internal Hunt-
We traipsed around NUS, getting a tour of the place, and playing station games! the most memorable game was the first one, because one of my teammates was so chiong about the game, that he hurt a girl! this game involved us linking arms to form a chain, and using a rolled up piece of paper to "hit" people. the aim was to "hit" the person designated as KING (like in chess) to win! there's also a GENERAL. if the GENERAL died, all the people on the general's right die too. but if the commoner gets hit, he gets freed and is able to roam about to intercept hits and protect the king! yup.. so two girls were the king and general for each group, since it's normal that girls are protected.. and this was how one of them got killed.. lol. i think it was good to have teamgames! because team games let us get to know more about people.

Secret Pal (SP) 1-
LOL. what can i say about this.. basically all the freshies were randomly assigned a secret pal, making sure that the guys are taller than the girls. then, each pair is given an SP nickname, i.e. aladdin and jasmine, tarzan and jane, etc. Mine was Zhu Ying Tai, so my SP was Liang Shan Bo.. i was like huh?! but rather amused that i got such a cheena name. let me emphasise that these 5 days, i spoke more chinese than i've probably spoken in the entire 2 years of RJC! because one of my groupmates only liked speaking chinese, plus he was the more talkative one in the group.. not to mention, alot of the other people liked speaking chinese more.. bo pian =P ok back to the event. hmm this was the introductory event so not much happened, just got split into groups, blindfolded then led to spots and talked to the other person blindfolded. CSC can also stand for "create scandal club".. =P the seniors were all very on about trying to matchmake people! i'm glad my SP was nice =) he had a nice voice too! so it was quite cool talking to him blindfolded. didn't really know what the lsb and zyt story was about! but the councillors told us that it was the butterfly lovers story! so we started referring to the random councillors that moved about to disturb people and "facilitate discussions" as butterflies =D quite funny.

Mysterious Journey-
It was mysterious because they blindfolded us and made us walk in a line, hands on the shoulders of the person in front of you. and play games blindfolded at stations! it was quite fun =D despite all the starch they lathered on you. the first station, we had to walk into a starch pool, which was actually a baby inflatable pool, and pick out letters to form ETHELONTER! and as you stood there in the dark, random people will walk by and starch you!! i got tricked so many times k =( the person would go "BOO" into my right ear, and when by reflex i moved to the left, his hand was there! and i got starch on my face =.=" many times. lol. so i'm gullible.

Next was water bombs station. we all lay down on the floor at different parts of the walkway and the councillors banged buckets on the floor to let us know roughly where they were. the objective of the game was to throw some of the 5 waterbombs you have, into the bucket! but the problem is, you don't know where the buckets are coz you can't see, PLUS, your groupmates are scattered all around! so the waterbombs are more likely to hit them, than a bucket LOL. luckily i was at the edge, so i didn't kena alot =D heehee. i think i almost hit a councillor! hurray for me, except that councillors can see and siam.

we had to climb stairs blindfolded! rawr. i can't really remember the other stations in order. i know there was a battleship one where you picked where you stood and if one of your groupmates picked your position (using icecream sticks) then, you'd have to forfeit! but the forfeits were nice, just like answer a question or tell them a lame joke. i told them a lame joke! LOL can't believe they hadn't heard of the joke: why didn't the skeleton cross the road? coz it had no guts! HAHA ok the 9pm vball show is on now =D blog more later.

there was another station where they coated biscuit sticks with different jams and you had to go around and identify who had a biscuit with the same type of jam as you by tasting them! LOL. every station had its own supply of starch to starch you with.. so in the end, everyone had free starch face and body mask! HAHAA. guaranteed to give you smoother skin..

yay then finally bathed and slept at 3am. wow. day 1 was long.. not wonder everyone was tired by day 2!

Day 2:
Breakfast was bread.. i was relatively hungry so i ate it.. despite usually not being a big fan of white bread.

External Hunt-
We went to see 3 places where the CSC hold regular volunteering sessions! visited Hospice Care Association, which helps terminally ill patients, Mindsville, which deals with intellectually disabled, and Chen Su Lan Children's home (self-explanatory)! it was good to actually see the places, and get a feel of the environment.. mindsville reminded me of an army camp though.. =S i didn't like the vibes of the place and honestly, i was quite scared although i'm not sure why! =( sigh.. but it was quite fun! because along the way we had to do a photohunt. like take photos with random people and things! and i had to ask a guy with right ear piercing to take photo with me =X so paiseh-ded please. rawr. we had lunch at amkhub! =D the hokkien mee there is a fake! supposed to be franchise of the famous one but it's lousy. please don't eat it. lol.. but the yogurt saved the day! i love the yogurt from amkhub, the yogurt place! <3

Talentime Preparation 1-
every og had to do a dance item, and choose a pageant couple! so this time was spent choosing a song: we finally decided on pump it, by blackeyed peas and were gonna follow the JJC massdance! but in the end, it was changed (tbc..tv calls!)
