read some amusing articles yesterday about the science of romance and the final verdict was that you should kiss as many people as possible because it acts as a "taste-test"! similar to that of identifying a mate by the pheromones it emits so that both of you are compatible in the sense that their major histocompatibility complexes (MHC) are as safely different as possible. MHC genes make molecules that enable the immune system to recognise invaders. Generally, the more diverse the MHC genes of the parents, the stronger the immune system of the offspring. This will increase the chances of the mother carrying the baby to term, and i surmise, strengthen the variation within the gene pool of the entire human population.
Sweeney Todd was quite a good show. and there are alot of good movies out now that cater to the more mature, save 27 dresses and something else which is a chick flick. this is good for me, but there was a woman who wrote into the TODAY forum complaining over the lack of family shows! anyway, i wonder when prison break and oth will recontinue because the writers don't seem to be letting up on their strike.. on one hand, it gives me time to catch up the shows, on the other, i probably won't have done so by the time they finish picketing anyway. lawl.
I want to catch Cloverfield, 27 Dresses, Away from her amongst others. what a hole in my pocket those would burn, especially since there's no time for me to watch movies except during the peak hours :( whine.
at least today i did something interesting.. printing cny card envelopes. but they smell funny, like incense, but without the smoke. sort of screwed up 2..hehe and there's like only one envelope per card so i couldn't like re-print but i guess 2 out of 90 is just 4%?! and i was super careful after that so the rest turned out fine. rawr. my math has degenned. maybe i need to give tuition to supplement my income. except that will kill piano, which has exams coming in less than a month's time x.X
A levels results please don't come back before the 18th.. :( I need to restart researching scholarships and applying!!
