be the wind beneath my wings
why not let me fly? and be the blanket that i know will be there to keep me warm when i need. or is that a selfish thought. is it selfish to want to reach and achieve?
it's so hard to know what to do when you're being torn in two directions, and the compromises are so few. maybe when your heart and your head are mutually exclusive, maybe then, it'd be easier to think and make a decision. i guess this is what life will be like without a map, a direction, a purpose. this is probably why somehow, unerringly, people will search for something to hold on to, be it a set of beliefs, a sentence, a truth, but usually, people search for a goal, something they were meant to do. i guess in comic books, in films and on television, this would probably be your life agenda, the one big thing you were put where you are to accomplish. but what then?
i'll make my decision tonight: university decisions are complicated because of the dreams VS reality, many other warring factors, and the added dimension of the world as "your oyster".
thanks flight, we really have an "it's complicated" thing going on.
