papercuts
yeah, the title says it all! i got a new papercut today.. and according to my mom, it's common amongst officefolk :S how horrid, i got 2 scars on the back on my left hand already from papercuts! and the annoying thing is that you can't even feel them.. today was a relatively normal day. and i guess the amazing thing about work is that you really identify with the phrase TGIF, not to mention you manage to keep track of the days! the after As period was characterised by a blending of days, because everyday seemed the same but i still kind of miss the slacking.
to stop whining, other people seem to have it worse, but more exciting jobs. i should look for an exciting job but.. laziness (:
oh well, at least yesterday was a fun day! we lanned for 4 hours straight, had dinner and hokkaido green tea icecream.. where i did my usual thing at the icecream stall: i tried 2 flavours: dark choc and banana choc that looked interesting or popular (by the amount left in the tub) and decided to get green tea again xP it's not my fault that green tea is the most appealing to my tastebuds <3
anw for lan, we learnt how to counter-strike! and i improved xD but i think the guy teaching us, plan, was probably (a) amused, and (b) slightly bored. he was super nice to come out and teach us to lan :D thanks!! hmm anyway, i think he gave alot of chances and let us use his character for target practice but i made a few nice kills. the bad thing about cs is that after we'd played for 2h, i started feeling giddy and headachy and the place was getting increasingly stuffy-feeling :S but the lanshop was quite cool :D it was $1.20/hr! and my comp was fast.. the last time i lanned, the comp died on me halfway :( horrid thing.
next up was dota! or rather warcraft III, because we tried dota for awhile but the game was super slow.. then i was getting extremely bored. luckily everyone came to a consensus to change map :D and we played enfo's! which i like. i have a horribly short attention span i think :P but we lost both rounds, which i don't like :( but time was running out so couldn't play another round. another map we tried was Darwin's Island. which was quite fun as well :P except the level 10 green dragon was imbal, until we sacrificed ourselves so that one person managed to reach level 11 and end the game.
i found my favourite heroes :D i like magii! particularly the moon mage that i used, which was super cool and leveled up/ earned money super fast! i like stuff that i can stand away and get kills with :P not really a melee kind of person coz i know i will get annoyed and just chiong through even knowing that i'll get killed instead :( useless. unless there's some hero with a like berserker skill. coz the first hero i chose was Kai the thief or something, which i'd chosen before because well, he just looks cool :P anw i earned so much money :D:D hahahahaa but i need to learn the point of the spells. i want to lan some more instead of going to work..
oh well at least tmr there's driving, at the expense of class girls' dinner with mdm lee :S i couldn't get it changed. aasdfjkalsd;jfkajdff. boo. driving better rock! :D
