boxing boxing

happy boxing day!

it's the day to learn boxing, didn't you know that? i did some basic boxing drills today in keeping with the spirit of boxing day (:

actually, all i did was skip 1000 times! it's the first time i've done any exercise in a while and that's how light exercise but it took me 20 minutes.. the good thing is i didn't feel tired at all after i was done, or is that considered a bad thing?

today was look for job, call driving instructor, look at UK uni apps and later on, i'm going to do piano hw day (: it was quite nice to rot at home because i woke up at 1130, which meant that there wasn't much time to slack the day away with and i exercised!

the past few days have been equally slack, maybe i should recount the week again, but it's only wednesday! the horrible thing is that i can't remember what i did over the weekend.. time seems to blend together when you're wasting time so i guess it's good i'm looking for jobs! oh i think it was spent shopping for christmas presents, but not very productively..

friday: pass btt, piano

saturday: shopping at bugis, which was super crowded and no-mood because it was crowded! so we didn't buy anything although food junction had good food :P oh bought dad's present.

sunday: shopping at amkhub after rotting. got mom's present and was deciding whether to get her a bag because they were 2 for $20, which is how cheap! but i only saw one that i'd get her that felt nice, then there was nothing else, PLUS the shop was crowded so i didn't buy. oh man, then i got stuck in the stupid flood.. alright i exaggerate! took bus to grandma's place but it started pouring! on the way, and i mean super heavy rain.. so i got stuck at the bus stop awhile deciding whether to wait for the rain to stop OR open my umbrella in spite of laziness in order to cross a short distance and move to the nearby mall to walk. obviously, i chose the latter. because i'm not that lazy (:

had a sudden impulse to make food, so i decided to make fudge and went to buy ingredients! i lugged about 5kg worth of ingredients back to my grandma's house while using hp with one hand and holding the umbrella with the other. felt quite pro until i had to call my mom and ended up holding all the stuff on one arm! and it was the arm with the hand that held the umbrella! so that was quite annoying.

oh, that day i found out that vanilla essence is something like synthetic vanilla extract because this noob bought the wrong thing and got worried.

making fudge at night was quite fun, i successfully challenged marshmallow creme! since they don't have it here, had to diy. :D the only horrid thing is that the fudge, although quite nice, was too sweet! next time i'm halving the sugar content.

monday: christmas eve!
had a mini family gathering thing at my place at night with relatives and my mom's friend. there were supposed to be more people but i guess we asked them too late so the turn-out was smaller than expected.. prior to that, i went to cityhall in the afternoon! it was quite fun walking to suntec to collect sheperd's pie although super crowded. met jon, bdict, cg for some food and to pass them fudge (thanks guys :P) and hang out awhile. and in the morning, i prepared the stupid turkey! which stole my sleep-time the night before because i was so worried i'd screw it up that i couldn't sleep.. talk about noob. anyway the turkey turned out good (: so that was happy. and we played mahjong at night, took a break and went arcade than returned to continue until super late, like past 2! then went out to buy supper because relatives were hungry. i slept at 4. (: all in all, it was a good day.

tuesday: MERRY CHRISTMAS
today was a super slack day. slept in until super late, than slacked around, went arcade again for the kiddies because i refused to watch Alvin and the chipmunks.. so my mom didn't wanna bring the kids anymore :S my fault? nahh. then dinner, home, slack!

then came rot-at-home-today (:
ok, i guess my life is quite fun!
