ORA invitational 2007
i got cut off in the middle of blogging the last post about national day. and this post won't go up until friday as well...which means 2 days! FHT retest..tomorrow will be systems mugging time until tuition.. no compromises!
after months of not touching a volleyball, i actually managed to survive playing from 2-7pm! granted, it wasn't non-stop but match situations are much more mentally and physically demanding.. :x not excuses.
it was good catching up with some of my team mates, having fun playing vball again and pigging out on the free food! thanks to ORA =) for catering the lovely buffet, the cheesecake, eclairs, spring roll, crystal bao 水晶包, fried mee siam style bee hoon, chicken drumlets were super good! so much for losing weight..but i think i played enough to make up for it xD except i ate so much right after playing and after not having a proper lunch that i felt like vomiting after that.. too much cheesecake? anyway the best reward was the food <33 i think i listed all the food except the fried wantons, which i'm sure were yummy too. but the shirt and cute vball dangly thing (pingpong ball decorated as a vball..lol.) were lovely too. the games were tiring and very fun (in a summarised form) although they made me realise how much of a noob i am in playing..and how much more i can improve.
anyway the loveliest of all were my teammates! hahaa it was fun talking and catching up, even though they were all talking about universities, scholarships and admissions. it seems to be almost all girls talk about in general these days when they make small talk..which makes me feel rather lacking, because i haven't thought about all those! everyone assumes i'd be a pilot, and it's a very viable option, it makes me happy to fly..but i guess there are other things in life i want to achieve as well. shrugs. and these are things i haven't properly thought about, like what i want to study and where it will take me! i mean, flying is an education, but it's not a university educable subject? if there's such a word.
tired. but happy (: haha. flight prep!
