i need to get strong, and if memory serves
RJ v NY

the worst thing about your team losing is not, in my opinion, the loss itself, but the feeling of uselessness that infiltrates your mind, then filters through your entire being when you don't get to contribute to the game, physically. and have to stand on the sidelines, watching them get sweat anxiety and frustration on the court. when you feel like spiking the other team hard, but have not the chance to.. perhaps the situation may not improve with your presence on court, but at least i'd have felt like i actually tried.
guess i'm not such a team player after all. cheering for your team can only help them so much... i'm probably just so lousy that my presence on court poses a greater risk than otherwise. that's why coach didn't put me in. yay. i feel reallyuseless and worthless great now.
playing a stronger team, you have everything to gain. and since that's a fact, you are free to play without pressure and try your hardest or funniest strategies against them, without much loss. it's like uncertainties. if the nucleus has more protons, a slight deviation of effective nuclear charge by different shielding effects, i.e. 1 electron or 0.9 electron since electrons are probability waves, does not affect it as much as if the nucleus has only one proton!
ah wdv. i shall just be mentally and physically prepared to be put on court at any time, any day to play my best and be at my calmest, the same way i felt today - energized, yet focused and confident with no hint of uncertainty, just ready to get in and play, ready to spike and bring them down! green zone ftw. yeahh. i'm quite proud (?) if that word can be applicable to me, of the way the team played in the second set, they finally settled down and showed what they were capable of, though not peak performance, it was credible and good! :) yayy
alright, it's done and we have to move on. the next two matches are crucial. i refuse to not have a chance to play at all in this comps. we have to be confident and make it through this! after playing NY, and realising that i'm seriously not scared of them at all, i mean, they weren't the least bit frightening to me, even though i didn't really want the spikes aimed at my head -.- and the spikes that came onto the court during the game were definitely not free spike balls. maybe we should train by asking zj to spike at us his hardest. makes sense. i wish i had more experience playing so i'd be a greater asset to the team. then again, i can watch games on youtube and improve my on court thinking. yeahh.
so come on, spike your hardest! spike me.
i'm ready and i'm not going anywhere.
(but must do mental skills and mental preparation all the time in order to perform and not be scared at all. that's the key trick! and hardly a secret actually..)
