Reflections on the First half of the year

Good things, not-so-good things and bad things... i'm feeling incoherent now. Thank chemistry. It has totally owned me and is still giving me a headache. This has been a long time coming... I dunno where to begin, I dunno how i've got here...

Good Things
OG: i'm glad we still meet in the mornings to play bridge! even sacrificed my pooh uno cards. but ah well, what's a few dollars xD the most nitrogenously-based og in the school! r0x0rs.

Class Bonding: in january, i was totally shocked by the fact that there was NOT ONE PERSON i knew well in my class... as an ex-gepper, i've been used to the fact that i would see the same old faces from the same relatively small group of people every year in secondary school. Guess this really put me out of my comfort zone especially having to interact with males when i've literally been in all female save my dad environments for the past 10 years. nonetheless, i feel the experience has been extremely enriching and amusing!! haha it's cool that i've finally been put in a class that loves sports (i.e. bball) as much as i do! :) Keeping fit has never been this fun!

SYFC has been the most exhilarating experience ever ^^ Met lotsa new people, from different schools, hope we will keep in touch even if they are out of the program. :) Every flight gives me a new perspective and i always get off the plane feeling high irregardless of my performance during the flight, haha and this lasts for hours! I'm glad my instructor has been such a nice guy and rather patient...but i'm really in no position to judge since i haven't flown with anyone else! haha ;P made two new good friends, whom i really hit it off with from the beginning :)

Not-so-good things
my grades...gahh slip like crazy. While people from my beloved old class are topping the level (surprising oO for some of them), i am barely passing!! :X needs to work harder now!

While my ct is super nice :) i wish she would be more tolerant and accepting of my decision and commitment to flying and let me pon school with no worries! Perhaps it's also my fault, for letting my common test results prove her right...

Friends...i feel more and more distanced from them... while enjoying the experience of being in a whole new environment and class, i feel like i'm underperforming... sometimes i wish i were in 3R, with the bulk of my old class, for people to inspire me to push myself harder... but as this runs through my head, i know i wouldn't give up the experience of being in 6S for anything ^^ Grades are the result of my independent hard work!! I should not be depending on anyone for anything. Should make more of an effort to stay in touch. set.

CCA...quit squash, after four and abit years of playing the game...decided it was time for a change. squash never felt as natural or as inspiring as other ball games like vball, and not racquet games... did i make the right decision? haha there's no looking back... opportunity cost paid. Vball!

Nothing bad has happened so far and i hope it stays that way...

But i've not been feeling hungry today and now my chest is damn tight >< i hope it's not asthma... mebbe it's the chem worksheet that's owning me and frustrating me...and the stress of not getting a flight in a week! tom yam maggi mee suxx...
